MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging)

Have you ever been experienced with MRI examination? Yeah, when you visit to your doctor then you explaining your problem such as severe back pain, continuously headache, or another internal body structure problem if you have done other radiology test X-Ray, Ultrasound, CT-Scan, but the result is still undetected may your doctor request to you to do MRI, because MRI scan relate to its precise accuracy in detecting structural abnormalities of the body.

MRI(Magnetic resonance imaging) is a painless radiology technique that uses magnetism, radio waves, and a computer to produce images of body structures ,soft tissues, bone and virtually all other internal body structures such as organs of the chest, abdomen and pelvis—including the heart, lungs, liver, biliary tract, kidney, spleen, and pancreas, pelvic organs including the reproductive organs in the male (prostate and testicles) and the female (uterus and ovaries), pelvic and hip bones, blood vessels (MR Angiography). It's require because doctor need to judgment the problem to become clear and sure, so treatment it will be accurate.
What will you prepare do, before enter to MRI examination room?
MRI is magnetic resonance imaging so it's require to you to avoid wear of metallic object such as jewelry, watches, credit cards and hearing aids, pins, hairpins, metal zippers and similar metallic items,removable dental work, pens, pocketknives and eyeglasses because all of thing can be damage or destroy the MRI result.
May be Radiologist also require you to swallow contras material by oral or any contras by injection to your blood stream but you have to tell radiologist if you have allergic experienced when you are taking contras material previously to avoid problem during MRI examination.

MRI actually there are known no risk or side effect if you are following the safety procedure instructed by Radiologist technician.
